- WooCommerce 4.0 is not 100% backwards compatible
- There are some upgrades and updates to the database that need to be performed when moving to WooCommerce 4.0.
- It is recommended that for larger databases you run the upgrade routine with the WP CLI command wp WC update and not with the administrator interface.
